Pamela L. Draper PRESIDENT & CEO
Prior to joining Bitvo, Pamela Draper spent almost 14 years in investment and corporate banking at top-tier Canadian banks. In various roles, she focused on raising capital for North American growth-oriented companies across industry sectors. She holds an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.
James Moore CAMLO
Mr. Moore joined Bitvo in 2023 as Chief Anti-Money Laundering Officer (CAMLO) and oversees AML compliance for the organization. Prior to joining Bitvo, he spent two years building the Canadian AML compliance program for a global digital currency exchange and 20 years working in various prominent roles with the RCMP Financial Crime Investigations team and the Alberta Securities Commission Enforcement division. Having spent his career focused on investor protection, AML and investigations, he brings a proactive and collaborative approach to risk mitigation and leading an organizational culture of compliance. Mr. Moore holds a BMgt in Finance and International Management, Executive Education certificates in Leadership and Management as well as extensive Canadian Police College training in court orders, criminal and regulatory law, AML and complex financial investigations.
Christine Dobson CFO & VP Finance
Ms. Dobson joined Bitvo in 2021 and is a designated CPA, CMA, with an MBA and over 15 years in financial reporting experience for a variety of industries including oil and gas, insurance, manufacturing, hospitality, and recruitment. Ms. Dobson's financial passion involves forward looking strategic trends and analysis, identifying areas of process improvement and financial automation.
Bayo Famakinwa CCO
Bayo Famakinwa joined Bitvo in 2023. He holds a BA in Accounting and Finance from University of Derby and an MBA from University of South Wales. Prior to joining Bitvo, Bayo had spent almost 15 years in the financial services industry. His experience includes retail banking, central banking, regulatory compliance oversight, risk management, banking supervision, and auditing. Bayo is a Chartered Risk Manager and holds other professional designations, including CIA, CISA and CRMA.
Summer Bradko GENERAL COUNSEL
Summer Bradko is General Counsel for Bitvo Inc. and is responsible for managing legal and regulatory compliance risk for Bitvo and its affiliates. She has almost 20 years of broad based legal experience and has spent the majority of her career working in financial services. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta. Active in her community, Summer currently serves as a director of the Edmonton Humane Society.
Beryl-Ann S. Shillingford PRODUCT MANAGER
Beryl-Ann Shillingford has 15 years’ experience in Program Management in the payments field. Prior to her current role at Bitvo, she was the Operational Accounting Manager in the Prepaid Division for DirectCash Payments Inc., a publicly traded financial services company. She has been responsible for project management and client implementation of innovative solutions for business, focusing on efficiency and service.
Mohib Jaffri Manager Operations & Trading
In 2023, Mohib Jaffri became a part of Bitvo. With approximately ten years of experience, he has contributed his expertise to prominent Canadian banks in retail lending and investment management. He has also worked at a renowned big four accounting firm, gaining valuable experience in financial analysis and decision-making for small management enterprises. Mohib Jaffri holds an Advanced Diploma in International Business from Seneca College, a Diploma in Financial Planning from CIFP, and an Undergraduate degree in Management from Athabasca University. His considerable enthusiasm lies in trading and wealth management.
Tyson Hollinger Financial Analyst & Cryptocurrency Trading
Tyson Hollinger joined Bitvo Inc. as a Financial Analyst / OTC Trader in July 2022. Tyson embarked on a thrilling journey into the world of digital assets right after graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Finance and a certificate in Economics. Tyson is passionate about blockchain technology and has a keen eye for market trends, financial analysis, forecasting and strategic planning. Tyson is poised to continue learning and making significant contributions to the Fintech industry.
Andrew Krochak Financial Analyst & Cryptocurrency Trading
Andrew Krochak joined Bitvo in 2022 as a cryptocurrency trader, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance from the University of Calgary. He has a passion for trading, financial reporting, and financial modelling. Additionally, he currently is in the process of obtaining the CFA designation.

Jeffrey J. Smith
Jeffrey Smith has more than 30 years’ experience operating, financing, growing and managing large-scale international financial services businesses. He is a co-founder of DC Bank, as well as the President and CEO. From 1997 to 2017 Mr. Smith was the President and CEO and largest shareholder of DirectCash Payments Inc., a publicly traded international financial services company.
Amanda J. Showalter
Prior to her current role as Chief Operating Officer at DC Bank, she served as Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Acquisitions for DirectCash Payments Inc., a publicly traded financial services business. Ms. Showalter has 15 years’ experience in international operations, business valuation, corporate finance, financial management and investor relations. Amanda Showalter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Masters of Business Administration in Finance.
Gary H. Dundas
Gary Dundas was most recently Director and CFO of Canadian International Oil Corporation and prior to that was CFO with Avenex Energy Corp. and Maxx Petroleum. Mr. Dundas has served as a Director on a number of public and private company boards over the past 16 years. He has obtained Bachelor of Commerce and MBA degrees from the University of Calgary and is a Chartered Professional Accountant, CMA.
R. Bradley Hurtubise
Brad Hurtubise was an investment banker and energy executive and has over two decades of experience in Director roles at publicly traded energy, technology and financial services companies, and was Director at DirectCash Payments Inc. from 2007 to 2017. Mr. Hurtubise holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder.
Susan M. Anderson
Susan Anderson is the President and CEO of Cannonball Capital Inc., which invests in venture companies, private and public equities, and commercial real estate. She is a G7 Fellow at Creative Destruction Lab (Rockies). She is a co-founder of DC Bank. Ms. Anderson earned a degree in Commerce from the University of Calgary, and a Law degree from the University of Alberta.
